Please join us in thanking the West Deer Township employees and Police Department for hosting our third-grade students on Government Day!

Assistant Township Manager Amanda Lukas and Deputy Police Chief Burk discussed their roles in the township and how local government impacts the community. The best part of local government, they said, is being able to provide community members with as many needs and wants as possible.

Students also toured the municipal building with Officer Zakary Fedunok, and they also visited the neighboring West Deer Dog Shelter.

We greatly appreciate the time everyone shared with our students so that they learned as much as possible about local government.
