Students earn PBIS reward activities

More than 20 East Union students recently participated in a PBIS Rewards Indoor Kickball game! Students receive Shield Cards for following "The Lancer Way" by being safe, kind, respectful and responsible, and they were randomly drawn to be a part of this fun activity. The activity also tied in Wellness by incorporating movement!
In addition to participating in the kickball game- 3 lucky winners earned gift cards for having turned in a Green Lancer Leader Shield Card. These cards are special as they are handed out by our ten 5th grade Lancer Leaders when they see their peers in grades 3, 4, or 5 following "The Lancer Way!"
PBIS is Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports programming. PBIS is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. In addition to team building outdoor and indoor activities, our staff and principals also reviewed PBIS expectations.
