East Union Intermediate students and staff celebrated during a PBIS Reward Day, which they earned in the school year's first nine weeks when students received 401 Shield Cards.

A student may earn a Shield Card for following The Lancer Way by being safe, kind, respectful and responsible.

Classes enjoyed movie time in the afternoon, and Lancer Leaders guided a cart to classrooms to thank and reward staff.

PBIS is Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports programming. PBIS is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. In addition to team building outdoor and indoor activities, our staff and principals also reviewed PBIS expectations.
